Fares Mohamed, Marco D'Alessandro and Marco D'Alessandro are still sidelined for SPAL, while Jasmin Kurtic and Mattia Valoti are doubts after missing last weekend due to injury.
SPAL dropped both Thiago Cionek and Felipe against Juventus and they managed to hold off the old lady for 45 minutes. It is not known if they will remember their regular center-backs here.
Jacopo Sala hopes to keep its place at the right rear fender and has a high chance of D'Alessandro with injuries.
Parma Calcio
Parma have won back-to-back games and Roberto D'Aversa could see no reason to change his starting eleven on Saturday before the international break.
Juraj Kucka returned from injury last weekend and a little playing time under his belt in the second half. It can be content with a place on the bench here given last two results of Parma.
Matteo Darmian is always with a thigh injury, while Alberto Grassi still lacks the opposite side.
Andreas Cornelius scored on his first league album for Parma last weekend and should retain his place in the team here.
SPAL vs Parma Preview
With only three points from six games, SPAL is currently 19th in the standings, seemingly destined for relegation scrap. Gli Spalini managed to upset Lazio (2-1), but ended up empty three devices hands - against Sassuolo (0-3), Lecce (1-3) and Juventus (0-2).
They seek to end this bad run Saturday when they host Parma in one of Emilian derbies. Their injury list is quite long with Fares, D'Alessandro Di Francesco, and Kurtic Valoti all reversed.
Parma, sitting in 9th place with three wins and three losses, will be in Ferrara in a good mood after two spectacular wins over Sassuolo (1-0) and Torino (3-2), both recorded at Ennio Tardini.
The unpredictable Gialloblu could have scored more goals against the Granata 10 men Gervinho missed a penalty and an absolute sitter. The promising young Dejan Kulusevski was a man of the match with a goal and an assist before halftime. Grassi is likely to miss this one.
SPAL, with a record win-draw-lose to 1-0-2 at home, have an average of 1.67 goals per game scored Paolo Mazza Stadium, but they are leaking goals all over the place with 2 33 per game. They are desperate for a win here and I am positive that they will play attacking football.
Parma are scoring and conceding the same amount of goals on the road - 1.50. The gialloblu are of a sensitive side and they finally found another source of goals and assists. They will visit regional rivals with a point to prove after two terrible performance last season.
I'll take both teams to score here, the numbers support that, and search the action in the second half - five of the six goals last season came after the break.
