Hull have not won any of their last nine matches in all competitions, losing seven times - including a run of five consecutive defeats.

Martin Samuelsen set to return to Hull City squad for the first time in a month by Grant McCann once again forced into changes for the visit Barnsley.

Gerhard Struber be tempted to name an unchanged side after Barnsley breathed life into their survival bid with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough at the weekend.

The Tykes held their nerve to grind three major points at Oakwell and the only one consideration could be the injection of fresh legs as they head to the stadium KCOM chasing a third consecutive victory.

Luke Thomas is an option in midfield after he started the 3-0 win away to Fulham, while January signing Marcel Ritzmaier is another option.
Callum Sykes faces six weeks with an ankle injury when the greater concern is the absence of first-choice goalkeeper Sami Radlinger with a muscle injury.

The number one Austria had lost the last four games, leaving the former Chelsea youth Bradley Collins to represent.
